<p>Procod is a &quot;micro ISV&quot;, a software company composed of a single 
  person.
  I founded Procod in 2002; it is a company based in Romania. 
  Until now I have done consulting work and I also developed my open-source project, 
  <a href="http://procod.com/picostorage/">PicoStorage : Lightweight Structured 
  Storage</a>.</p>
<p>I value over all the <em>simplicity</em> in design and implementation.
  I want the 
  resulting design and code to be comprehensible, manageable and explicit. 
  Simplicity 
  means avoiding un-necesary baroque features, using the simplest solution that 
  works, writing only obviously self explicit source code; it is resonant 
  with clean design. </p>
<p>I develop and test on multiple platforms (Windows and Linux) during the entire 
  development cycle. Portability is adressed from the design. </p>
<p>The software I develop achives maintanability (through clean design, simplicity 
  &amp; portability), and economic memory &amp; cpu footprint.</p>
<p>My first-choice language is C++. I have experience with Posix enviroments (mainly 
  Linux, also Solaris) and with Windows. I regularily use these tools: GCC (compiler), 
  MINGW (GCC ported to Windows), CVS (version control), Scons (build tool), Emacs 
  (editor).</p>
